How to use the Beer Selector
The Beermaster’s Magical Beer Selector is all about finding the beers available at the Great British
Beer Festival that you will love, based on a few of your preferences. You can be as vague or specific
as you want, so simply click the icons which represent the style, colour or strength of beers that you
prefer and the selector will do the rest.
So for example, if you’re not bothered about strength or style but only want to drink very pale or
golden coloured beers, simply click the two palest pints icons and press GO. On the other hand, want
to just see the Black IPAs between 5-6%? Easy. Just click ‘5-6%’, ‘IPA’ and the ‘Black’ pint glass, then
Foreign Beer, Cider & Perry
At the moment the Foreign Beer buttons won’t generate any results as we don’t have any info to
share! Foreign beers will be added in to the results once we have the finalised list, but work slightly
differently as they can only be filtered by ABV and not by colour or style. The same goes for cider
Creating your custom beer list
If you login using the button on the top right of beer selector page - either using your CAMRA
membership number or by creating a new login with your name and email address – then you can
save any beers you like the sound of to a custom list which will be there waiting for you next time
you log in.
You can do as many searches as you like using the beer selector (or search bar) and when you
click ‘add to my list’ they will be added to your custom beer list. You can even share your list on
Facebook or Twitter to show your friends what they should be drinking!
